  • Do you do in-person appointments?
Yes, I do. Though the majority of my appointments are booked virtually through Telehealth, I can meet with patients in person. If this is your preference, please let me know. Unless we have specifically confirmed an in-person visit, please assume we will meet virtually. Thank You.

  • What is the difference between a psychiatrist nurse practitioner and a therapist?
Both treat mental health conditions but in different ways. Psychiatric nurse practitioners and psychiatrists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions and can prescribe medication. Therapists and psychologists, however, cannot prescribe medication.
  • What can I expect during our first session?
My goal is to maintain a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with my patients. I want my patients to know that each time we meet, I will emphatically listen to all their concerns and focus on their needs. Our meetings are a safe place to let go of the different things in life that are causing a burden.
